With well over a decade of experience working in the dental field, Dr. Barrow enjoys building strong relationships with her patients while educating them on how to maintain and improve their oral health. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
During her childhood, Dr. Barrow was also a young pediatric dental patient who visited her dentist often to get her teeth treated and cleaned. However, she was extremely curious about what her dentist was doing during her appointments and always asked questions to learn more about the work. With her deep interest in the profession, she decided at that time that she wanted to pursue a career in the dental field, and she’s never looked back since.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Barrow was raised in both New York and Barbados. To start her dream profession, she decided to attend the University of the West Indies in Barbados for her undergraduate degree before studying at Howard University College of Dentistry. There, she worked hard to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and then moved on to complete her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency.
Dr. Barrow is also committed to continuing education and is even certified in Invisalign. She holds a membership in various professional organizations to remain up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry, including:

- SPEAR Education
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
If you don’t find her at the office treating and improving smiles, Dr. Barrow is likely spending time with her husband and their two Australian cattle dogs. Other than dentistry, she loves being with her family and friends, traveling to different locations, going for swims, and trying out new and exotic foods! Although she has numerous hobbies, painting is the one she’s most fond of.
