Routine Dental Checkups

At each of your checkups, we’ll begin by conducting a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, and oral tissues in search of any symptoms that could be caused by developing problems. If it has been longer than a year since your last dental X-rays, we’ll also capture images of your mouth to see if there are any problem areas beneath the surface. Finally, we’ll conduct an oral cancer screening in search of any abnormalities in the oral tissues.

If we find any oral health problems, we’ll discuss them with you and go through each of your treatment options. Once we settle on what solution is best for your needs, we’ll quickly take care of the situation before it gets any worse.

Semi-Annual Cleanings

The last portion of your routine appointment will be your cleaning. One of our experienced dental hygienists will begin by removing all remnants of plaque or tartar accumulation on the surface of your teeth. With our dental polisher, we’ll gently polish the surface of your teeth to remove any surface stains. After a quick flossing session, you’ll be on your way out the door!
